Qu’est-ce que c'est ? / What is it ?
« Dans quel monde JE VIS ? - Dialogues sans frontières » est un projet européen participatif d’éducation artistique et culturelle à destination de six classes d’adolescents belges, britanniques et français. Dans chaque classe, les adolescents inventent collectivement des dialogues de théâtre, en co-écriture avec un.e auteur.e. Les textes sont ensuite traduits et envoyés dans les autres établissements. Commence alors une exploration et un travail de mise en voix bilingue par les élèves, accompagnés par les enseignants de lettres et de langues vivantes ainsi que par les auteurs qui sont intervenus dans les autres classes. Des présentations publiques de lectures des dialogues en version originale et traduite auront lieu au sein des structures culturelles.

Au-delà d’un processus d’écriture, cette exploration participative et collaborative est une expérience humaine, une confrontation des points de vue et des enjeux ciblés par les adolescents européens.
« In what world I LIVE ? - Dialogues without borders » is an EU-supported artistic and cultural educational project involving six secondary-school classes from Belgium, France, and the United Kingdom. In each class, the teenagers collectively co-write theatre dialogues with an author. The texts are then translated and sent to the other classes involved. In the next stage of the project, the student explore the texts by reading them aloud and staging rehearsed readings of the texts in both languages (French and English) is the task that follows. The pupils are helped in this endeavor by their Drama/English and modern language teachers, and the playwrights. Rehearsed readings of the dialogues in original and translated languages will be performed to an invited or public audience.

Beyond the writing process, this collaborative and participative exploration of theatre texts is a rich experience that confronts the points of view and issues specific to European teenagers.
